Digital Marketing Service Providers

CONTACT INFORMATION / PERSONAL DATA
In order to run our business successfully, we collect contact information on our customers and suppliers. This information is limited to full names, email addresses, occupation, company names and addresses; and is stored in our central CRM system for operational purposes.
The data is reserved for use by MDC employees only whose access to the CRM is protected behind a sign in and permissions limit visibility of this data to suit their job role within the company.
We collect this information from a number of different sources; namely:
WEBSITE
All enquiries submitted through our contact form are collected by a third party application (Contact Form 7) that allows us to keep a record of each enquiry should the email go astray. We also receive all enquiries as emails to a dedicated inbox.

FACE TO FACE (TRADE SHOWS, EVENTS AND MEETINGS)
If you visited us at a trade show or event and allowed us to scan your event badge or provided us with a business card or we manually jotted down your contact information, your data will be added to our CRM database.
You will not however be automatically opted into any mailing campaigns nor will your data be shared with any third parties unless you gave us explicit permission to do so.
MARKETING AND NEWSLETTERS
We send regular marketing emails and newsletters to help keep our customers abreast of changes within the industry and to market our services.
You will have been asked to opt-in to these if you submitted an enquiry via the contact form on our website.
If you supplied your details at a trade show, event or meeting, the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulation) regulation 22 facilitates a ‘soft opt-in’ that allows us to contact customers who have purchased from us or expressed interest in our services even if they haven’t explicitly opted in to marketing activity. In this instance we may send you a one-off email confirming how we got your information, a summary of the services we offer and provide the option to opt-in to future marketing. If however you decide not to opt-in, you will not be contacted again, regardless if you unsubscribed or not.
You can opt-out of all marketing at anytime by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link provided in the footer of our marketing emails and newsletters.
